University of Pittsburgh Trees Hall Diving Platform

Strengthening of the aging 10m diving tower support column as part of the overall restoration of the University of Pittsburgh diving platform using unidirectional carbon fiber fabric. Because the pool had to remain open during the complex repairs, specialty containment, including a dust mitigation system, was utilized to protect pool was sandblasted and repaired. To combat the tower’s cracks and signs of fatigue, concrete repairs were completed throughout to restore it to its full strength and safety before the entire structure was painted.
